About Us
We are a family-owned yoga studio in the heart of Kingston's Inner Harbour neighborhood. Moving to Kingston, Ontario in the early 90s, we immediately felt we had found our home.

It was always our dream to own a business and find a way to bring one of our passions to our hometown: surfing. With a vibrant yoga community already in place, the idea for Surf Shack Yoga was born.

History
The location of Surf Shack Yoga is a historical and much-loved place in Kingston's Inner Harbour. Olympia Billiards and Take Out Restaurant was founded by Peter Betas in 1969. Peter created a space that became a community hub for 35 years, where locals came together to connect and escape for a moment every day.

Our Mission
We hope to continue Peter Betas' legacy with a space where community can meet and connect every day. An escape alongside like-minded people, which is what we love so much about yoga and surfing.
